Dr. David Francis
Dr. Francis wanted to find a career where he could combine his passions of working with his hands, being creative, and helping others. He found the perfect combination in dentistry.
Dr. Francis received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. He also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is SMART certified through the International Academy of Oral and Medical Toxicology and has received his certification of Biological Dentistry through the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine.
- International Academy of Biological and Dental Medicine
- International Academy of Oral and Medical Toxicology
- International Academy of Mercury Safe Dentists
- Weston A. Price Foundation
- American Academy of Oral and Systemic Health
Before dentistry, Dr. Francis worked for four years in a holistic family medical practice alongside medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists. There, he saw firsthand the profound impact a balanced combination of conventional and holistic medicine can have on a patient’s life and well-being. He believes deeply that, given the right building blocks, the body has the ability to heal itself.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Francis can be found spending time with this lovely wife Christy and their five children, playing the guitar (find him on YouTube!), or riding his bike. Ask him about the time he rode his bike from Austin to Anchorage. The reason might surprise you!

His leadership also made Dr. Glaros a highly respected figure in the field of biological dentistry and medicine. In 2013, he was honored to accept an invitation to be interviewed by leading natural health expert and integrative physician Dr. Joseph Mercola.
While his physical presence no longer frequents the office, his spirit, heart and legacy will continue to drive the compassionate, health-oriented care provided within these walls.
Donna began working with Dr. Glaros in 1995. Even though her background was in banking, she has become an asset to our dental practice. She moved to Houston from Chicago in 1973. She has one son, Kevin, and 2 granddogs who live in Austin. She has been a long time church choir member and handbell ringer. Donna is a fan of musical theatre and enjoys listening to music including vintage, popular and classical. She also loves to read. She believes that it is important to be useful in life.
Ziem was born and raised in Vietnam. She lives a very holistic lifestyle. In 1995, she moved to the United States. She joined the US Army for six years where she received her training as a hygienist. She served in the US military for 2 years as a hygienist. In 2007, she completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. In 2008, she began working for our practice with Dr. Glaros. She has a belief that the dental office should not be a place of fear. She was attracted to this dental practice because the philosophy of the practice is based on a holistic approach, which resonates with her personal lifestyle. She tries to help as much as possible and loves providing high-quality care to our patients. Her focus is on sharing and coaching our patients on their oral health journey. The best part of her day is seeing patients leave our office feeling confident and happier with their smile. In her spare time, she enjoys helping other people who are in need. She also has a passion for gardening.
Salina has been a dental assistant since 2014. She has been with our practice since 2018. She is from California, but has been in Houston since 2011 and loves it here. She came to Houston with her boyfriend, AJ, who is in the Radiology field. They love pets and have two rescue dogs, Wally and Chloe. They are the sweetest dogs and tend to be quite clingy! She is a big believer that things happen for a reason and that God has placed her in this practice to, not only learn about teeth, but to also pay more attention to her mental health and whole body health. She believes that in order to take care of others, one needs to take care of themselves as well. Since working at the practice, she has made some health changes and is still improving to be the best version of herself.
Lexy started with the practice in mid 2019. Lexy’s husband is a business owner and they got married in 2018 on their 5 year anniversary. She is a native Houstonian. Lexy started her career as a dental assistant in 2014. Her favorite procedure is surgery. She loves taking care of patients and making them feel better. Lexy has a passion for horses and loves to be outdoors. She fell in love with riding horses when she was about 2 years old and by the time she was 7, she started training ponies. Horses make her feel free, even if it’s work, it’s a passion and a stress reliever. She hopes to train people’s horses for them and teach kids how to ride.
